Our Story

Hathiramani is a modern fine jewellery brand inspired by heritage, sentiment and timeless design. My journey with jewellery began long before this brand existed. My Great Grandfather, Dada Lachmandas was a jeweller in Calcutta, India, creating pieces entirely by hand for my grandmother, my mother, and my aunt, many of which I still wear today. Growing up, my mum introduced me to her jewellery collection and the stories behind each piece, which naturally made me fall in love with jewellery myself. Somehow, after my great grandfather, the passion has found its way back to me.

Hathiramani is modern, refined, personal and designed to be lived in. Pieces that feel effortless, enduring and deeply meaningful, made to be worn every day, treasured for years, and eventually passed on.

Today, after years of sharing a love for jewellery, I decided to bring on my mum, Deepa, as my partner in crime as it felt only natural to build Hathiramani together.
